Voter Information Requests

People and groups are allowed to request information about voter registration for election, scholarly, journalistic, political and governmental purposes.

Fill out and print this application form.

Print a photocopy of your driver’s license.

Pay by cash or check. Make checks payable to [Insert: County] Elections Office. The fees for voter data are $50 for Countywide Voter Rolls and $37 for Single District Voter Rolls.

Return the application form, photocopy of your driver’s license, and the fee by mail or in person to [Insert: Application Address].

Voter Rolls

Your voter registration affidavit will be used by elections officials to send you official information on the voting process, such as the location of your polling place, the issues and candidates that will appear on the ballot.

Commercial use of voter registration information is prohibited by law and is a misdemeanor. Voter information may be provided to a candidate for office, a ballot measure committee or other persons for election, scholarly, journalistic, political or governmental purposes, as determined by the Secretary of State. Driver’s licenses, social security numbers and signatures as shown on voter registration cards cannot be released for these purposes.
